Frequently Asked Questions

We ask for a minimum commitment of 4 hours per week for at least 3 months. This allows volunteers to fully engage with our programs and build meaningful relationships with the communities we serve. However, we understand that schedules vary, and we're happy to discuss flexible arrangements.

While specific qualifications may be required for certain roles (such as healthcare or counseling), many of our volunteer positions only require passion, commitment, and a willingness to learn. We provide training for all volunteers to ensure they're prepared for their roles.

Yes! We offer remote volunteering opportunities in areas such as digital marketing, content creation, grant writing, and administrative support. Remote volunteers are an essential part of our team and contribute significantly to our mission.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old for most positions. However, we do have special youth volunteer programs for those aged 15-17 with parental consent. These programs are designed to engage young people in community service while ensuring appropriate supervision.

All volunteers receive comprehensive orientation and training specific to their role. You'll be assigned a volunteer coordinator who will provide ongoing support, regular check-ins, and opportunities for feedback. We also host volunteer appreciation events and provide certificates of service upon request.
